Authorization for Automatic Credit Card Payment Processing

I authorize Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. (“CARRIER”) to obtain payment of freight and related charges now and in the future by initiating debit entries to my debit/credit card indicated below. This authority shall be effective immediately and will remain in full force and effect until the date that CARRIER has received thirty (30) days written notice from me of its termination, and I understand that the program will be immediately canceled as a result of an unresolved processing failure or an unauthorized charge-back or as determined by CARRIER. You may cancel this Authorization by calling us at 1-800-235-5569 or by emailing creditcard@odfl.com. This authorization does not constitute a subscription agreement. I represent that all transactions under this authorization are commercial transactions and not for personal, family or household use.

The following conditions apply to CARRIER’s freight credit program:

  1. If any payment is refused by a bank or credit card issuer I may no longer be eligible for credit with respect to payment of freight.
  2. All future payments will be processed via the account described below unless I notify CARRIER in writing of an alternative payment method, or unless CARRIER chooses to revoke this payment option, which CARRIER may do at any time and for any reason.

I agree to make all future payments under this charge authorization according to my card statement. In no event will I attempt to credit my account for any over-charge, damage or shortage claim, or other, and I agree to file all claims in writing as per Department of Transportation Regulations. I understand that the payment of freight charges is a prerequisite for the processing of my claims. I understand that I might be subject to liquidated damages on unpaid freight balances if any card charge is declined. CARRIER will send an invoice, and will send a remittance indicating invoice numbers, amounts paid and the last four digits of the card number.
