Old Dominion Freight Line has been in the shipping and freight business for over 85+ years. We know how important it is that shipping clients receive on-time, accurate information about their shipment, cargo, or freight from the Continental U.S. to the Puerto Rico and USVI. Therefore, our on-line track and trace service at www.odfl.com has been built to provide shipment visibility and item-level detail via the internet. Just another way Old Dominion benefits freight and shipping clients across the nation and around the world.
If you ship to Puerto Rico the U.S. Government rules for documents have changed. If the product value is in excess of $2,500 USD, you now have to file a Shippers Export Declaration (SED). Effective July 2nd, 2008, the SED must be filed using the U.S. Customs Automated Export System (AES). Failure to do so will cause shipment delay and paper filings will be subject to penalties.
