Our White Glove service provides inside delivery to residential, medical and retail facilities across the continental U.S. with the trust that comes with the Old Dominion name. Four service levels range from basic over-the-threshold delivery to more complex deliveries that include up to two flights of stairs, unpacking, debris removal and assembly.
Over 1,100 two-person delivery teams are equipped to handle your high-claim packages reliably, with real-time track-and- trace for full visibility and flexible delivery windows with confirmed appointments.
Service levels
- OD Level 4: Up to two flights of stairs, placement in room of choice, unpack, debris removal and up to 30 minutes of assembly with wrench and screwdriver.
- OD Level 3: Up to two flights of stairs, placement in room of choice, unpack, debris removal and up to 15 minutes of assembly without tools.
- OD Level 2: Up to two flights of stairs and placement in room of choice (does not include debris removal)
- OD Level 1: Delivery across the threshold by one driver (does not include debris removal or placement in room)

Liability
All shipments must be properly packaged, cartoned or crated. A maximum liability of $2.00 per pound is included in the shipping cost. For additional coverage, first-dollar insurance is available for a $45.00 minimum charge or 60 cents per $100.00 of value, whichever is greater.
How to Request
Simply write “White Glove” and the desired service level on your bill of lading.

- White Glove Service is listed as an accessorial service on our online Rate Estimate tool.
- Simply check the White Glove Service box and select the level of service you desire.
- Use the link at the bottom of your completed estimate to proceed straight to our Bill of Lading application. White Glove Service will be pre-selected, and once your bill of lading is complete, the White Glove code will appear as an accessorial service.
