Moving your shipments via OD's Air is an easy five step process
- Obtain known shipper status - Known shipper status is required by the Transportation Security Administration. Contact your OD solutions specialist to sign up now.
- Dim your shipment. Calculate the Dim Weight of your shipment using the following formula:
length x width x height ÷ 166.
- Access 866-ODSPEED for your OD Air Quote.
- Initiate the pickup.
- Relax - Complete track and trace capabilities are available at www.odfl.com.
Additional Information
- Generally air freight cannot be taller than 80", longer than 120" or wider than 65". Call 866-ODSPEED for assistance with your oversized freight.
- Oversized freight can have additional charges.
- Charter Aircraft Services and Special Services such as Convention, Appointment, Residential, Weekends, and Holiday are available.
- OD Speed Service Air is also available to and from China.
- Complete worldwide air freight service available via OD Global.
- OD will be unable to offer air freight on any hazmat shipment.
- Many items that can move via ground are prohibited from moving via air freight. Some examples of items that cannot be flown are: yeast, magnets, speakers, paint, and many more. A complete list can be provided to you.
