Old Dominion Opens Chicago West Service Center
100-door facility serves regional industrial and manufacturing hub
CREST HILL, Illinois (August 19, 2013) – Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. today opened a 100-door facility southwest of Chicago.
The Chicago West Service Center is a newly constructed facility located in Crest Hill, an area known as a regional industrial distribution and manufacturing hub. The facility employs 91 people.
Crest Hill benefits from its close proximity to a number of busy thoroughfares, including interstates 55, 80, 88, 355, 39, 90 and 57.
“This new facility bolsters Old Dominion’s growing national network,” said Brendan Martinez, manager of the Chicago West Service Center. “We look forward to maintaining the company’s promise of offering a premium service to our customers from the new service center.”
The facility’s service area includes West Chicago, Crest Hill, Joliet, Aurora, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Naperville, Woodbridge, Downers Grove, New Lenox, Westmont, Wheaton and Batavia.
The Chicago West Service Center is located at 16811 Enterprise Boulevard in Crest Hill. The facility is the seventh Old Dominion service center in Illinois.
