Old Dominion Opens New Service Center in Salinas, California
10-door facility will serve California’s Central Coast
SALINAS, California (April 1, 2013) – Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. today opened a new service center in Salinas, California, to accommodate increased demand in California’s Central Coast region.
Strategically located along Interstate 101, the 10-door Salinas Service Center is located at 1090 Terven Ave., Unit B. With eight employees, the facility serves a wide range of customers, including the region’s thriving agricultural and industrial industries.
“We are thrilled to open Old Dominion’s newest location in Salinas,” said Jeff Roe, manager of the Salinas Service Center. “The new service center allows us to expand Old Dominion’s presence in the area. As we grow, we promise to maintain the company’s tradition of providing the best possible service to all our customers.”
The facility’s service area includes Salinas, Gilroy, Hollister, Santa Cruz, Watsonville, Seaside, Monterey, Carmel, Carmel Valley and King City.
The relocation is part of a $95 million investment Old Dominion has committed to real estate purchases and expansion projects in 2013.
