Old Dominion Relocates Cheyenne, Wyoming, Service Center
Larger facility allows for overnight service to three states
CHEYENNE, Wyoming (March 25, 2013) – Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. today relocated and expanded its Cheyenne Service Center as part of an ongoing effort to maintain an efficient network throughout the Western United States.
With the relocation, the terminal’s size increased from four to 21 doors, allowing the service center to now provide overnight service to regional cities, including Salt Lake City, Utah; Omaha, Neb. and Billings, Mont.
The site, located at 7905 Hutchins Drive, is positioned near several major thoroughfares, including Interstates 80 and 25. The facility employs nine people.
“The improved terminal was necessary for Old Dominion’s sustained growth in Cheyenne,” said Jason Hyepock, manager of the Cheyenne Service Center. “We look forward to upholding our commitment to outstanding customer service at our new location, for new and old customers alike.”
The terminal’s service area includes Cheyenne, Laramie, Saratoga, Wheatland and Torrington in Wyoming and Scottsbluff, Sidney and Kimball in Nebraska.
As Wyoming’s largest city and state capital, Cheyenne is an important location for Old Dominion. The area benefits from strong manufacturing, energy and agricultural industries.
The relocation is part of a $95 million investment Old Dominion has committed to real estate purchases and expansion projects in 2013.
