Old Dominion Relocates and Expands Medford Service CenterCONTACT: Todd DeFeo MEDFORD, Ore. (March 26, 2010) – Old Dominion Freight Line Inc.’s service center in Medford, Ore., has relocated to a larger facility. The service center, formerly located at 1163 Knutson Avenue, Medford, Ore., has moved to its new location, a 22-door facility that sits on a four-acre site at 1131 Oak Street in Medford. The new service center replaces a 3-door facility. According to Chuck Powell, Vice President of the Pacific Northwest Region for Old Dominion, the Medford Service Center will continue operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager, Quinn Ransom. “With the relocation of the service center, we will increase our capacity to better serve customers and streamline line haul operations on the I-5 corridor,” Powell said. “By expanding the service, we will also be positioned to gain market share in locations currently being served.” Old Dominion operates 210 service centers in the lower 48 states.
