Old Dominion Freight Line Launches Mobile Web Site

THOMASVILLE, NC (February 1, 2010) – – Ken Erdner, Vice President of Information Systems & Technology for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the launch of its new mobile web site for customers using BlackBerry®, iPhone® and other mobile devices.

Customers accessing odfl.com through a mobile browser will now automatically be redirected the mobile site, which offers optimized tools for calculating shipping rates, scheduling pickups, tracing shipments and locating Old Dominion services centers.

“The launch of our mobile site enables customers to easily schedule and track shipments while on the go,” said Erdner. “We understood the need for access to these tools while outside the workplace or away from a computer, and we wanted that to be an optimal experience.”
