Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. Relocates Long Beach Service CenterCONTACT: Bob Foote THOMASVILLE, NC (January 15, 2010) – Bob Foote, Vice President of the Western Region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced a Service Center relocation in Long Beach, Calif. The facility, formerly located at 2250 East 69th Street, Long Beach, Calif., has moved to its new location, a 100-door facility located on an approximately eight acre site at 21300 South Wilmington Avenue, Carson, Calif. According to Foote, the Long Beach Service Center will continue operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager Bob Pearson, who will direct a staff of 80. “The new location of the service center will position OD for closer access to the Port of Long Beach and the Port of Los Angeles. The larger facility will increase our freight capacity to better help our customers’ needs and allow us room to grow in this market,” said Foote.
