Old Dominion Relocates Reno Service CenterCONTACT: Bob Foote THOMASVILLE, N.C. (December 4, 2009) – Bob Foote, Vice President of the Western region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced the relocation of its Reno, Nev., service center. The facility, formerly located at 550 Overmyer Road, Sparks, Nev., has moved to its new location, a 68-door facility located on an approximately fourteen acre site at 200 Independence Avenue, Lockwood, Nev. According to Foote, the Reno Service Center will continue operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager Jay Haines, who will direct a staff of 48. “The relocation of the Reno Service Center will provide us, as well as our customers, with a better geographical location for long term growth. We now have better access to major highways, and the industrial area streamlines the operation to provide a superior service. As well, the facility’s modernized technology further aids the efficiency and quality that OD already provides,” said Foote.
