THOMASVILLE, NC (July 17, 2009) – Chuck Powell, Vice President of the Pacific Northwest region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced a service center relocation in Seattle, Washington. The facility, formerly located at 14409 24th Street East, Sumner, Wash., has moved to its new location, an 88-door facility located on a twelve acre site at 600 South 96th Street, Seattle, Wash.

According to Powell, the Seattle Service Center will continue operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager Bill Gehlsen, who will direct a staff of 100.

“The relocation of the Seattle Service Center will give OD needed room and doors for the future. It will also reduce the time it takes to get to our customers’ areas and allow us to react to customers’ needs better,” said Powell.
