(May 4, 2009) – LB Clayton, Vice President of the Midsouth region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced a service center opening in Wytheville, Va. The 8-door facility is located at 137 Freight Drive, Wytheville, Va. According to Clayton, the Wytheville Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager Trent Yates, who will direct a staff of nine. “The opening of the Wytheville Service Center will improve our next-day and second-day service to and from southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia,” said Clayton. “Old Dominion will be positioned to gain market share in points currently being served.” Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is a leading less-than-truckload (LTL) super regional carrier.
