(Jan. 16, 2009) – Dave Bates, Vice President of the Central States region for Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., announced a service center relocation to Omaha, Neb. The 74-door facility is located on a seven-acre site at 10626 I St. According to Bates, the Omaha Service Center will continue operations under the leadership of Service Center Manager Scott Lambert, who will direct a staff of 50. “This move gives Omaha double the capacity to service our customers,” said Bates. “We are still in the heart of Omaha, giving our customers in Omaha and surrounding communities the highest quality of service in the industry.
