Old Dominion Opens New Container Drayage OperationCONTACT: Wayne Bersch THOMASVILLE, N.C. (October, 2008) - Old Dominion Freight Line Inc., (NASDAQ NN: ODFL), today announced the opening of a new Container Drayage operation in Huntsville, AL. This new operation will serve the Port of Huntsville, an International Intermodal Center serving north central Alabama and the surrounding states. The purpose of the operation is to move ocean going containers to and from the Huntsville Intermodal Center. This new location will benefit our customers for both their import and export needs. This is the eleventh Container Drayage operation in the Old Dominion Container Drayage network. Old Dominion also has Container Drayage operations in Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Los Angeles/Long Beach, Jacksonville, Savannah, Charleston, Wilmington and Norfolk. This operation is in reaction to customer requests to expand the network in the Huntsville, AL area. ODFL plans to open additional locations in the very near future.
