Ken Ludwig Joins Old Dominion as Vice President of Human Resources


THOMASVILLE, N.C. (June 2008) – Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. today announced the addition of Ken Ludwig as the Vice President of Human Resources.

Prior to joining Old Dominion, Ludwig gained exceptional knowledge as a Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Culp, Inc. for 22 years. In addition, Ludwig worked for 10 years in human resources at Cannon Mills Company and Cone Mill Corporation.

“Ken brings more than three decades of human resources experience to Old Dominion,” says Condgon, President and CEO. “His proven record and certification will add tremendous value to our company.”

Raised in Asheboro, Ludwig received his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Appalachian State University, and is a certified senior professional in human resources (SPHR), displaying his knowledge in functional areas at the strategic level. Additionally, Ludwig is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
