Old Dominion Opens New Service Center in West Atlanta, GACONTACT: Hugh Morris Thomasville, North Carolina (January 5, 2007) - Hugh Morris, Vice President of the Southern Region for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the early January opening of a new service center in West Atlanta. The 100 door facility will be located on a 15 acre site at 2500 Westpoint Drive in Lithia Springs, Georgia. According to Morris the West Atlanta Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Manager of Sales & Service, Steve Greenhill who will direct a staff of 127 to include: 4 supervisors; 3 sales representatives; 4 dispatchers; 6 office staff; 50 local drivers; 30 warehouseworkers and 30 over the road drivers. Commenting further on the opening, Morris added: “The West Atlanta Service Center will give us additional capacity to handle the ever expanding market in the Atlanta Metro area. It will also put us closer to the customer base in Western Atlanta and the West Georgia and Eastern Alabama markets.
