Thomasville, North Carolina (February 13, 2006) - Mike Wood, Vice President of Midwest Region for Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the opening of a new service center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The 18 door facility will be located on a 4 acre site at 5070 Carpenter Road in nearby Ypsilanti.

According to Wood the Ann Arbor Service Center will begin operations under the leadership of Manager of Sales & Service, Dave Gilbert who will direct a staff of 19.

Commenting further on the opening, Wood added: “Ann Arbor will help us to provide better coverage in the Detroit area, giving our Detroit Service Center considerably more capacity.”
