OLD DOMINION OPENS SERVICE CENTER IN BEAUMONT, TEXAS

Thomasville, North Carolina (December 28, 2005) - Gerry Broadwell, Vice President of the South Central Region at Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., announced the opening of a new service center in Beaumont, Texas. The new 23 door service center is located on a 3 acre site at 5255 Washington Boulevard. Operations begin January 2nd with a staff of 11.

Commenting on the opening, Broadwell said: “The addition of the Beaumont Service Center will improve service to the Gulf Coast region and give our customers a quicker response to their operational needs. Additionally, this area has an increased need for our service as rebuilding continues from the two hurricanes. We are committed to the rebuilding process.”
