Employment: Management/Professional: Weighing & Inspection Analyst

Job Description and Responsibilities:

• To inspect the freight crossing the dock , assuring that it is properly classified per the NMFC and is properly rated per the applicable pricing
• To assure freight is within the limitations of all rules set forth in OD100 Rules Tariff
• To provide the Pricing / Costing department with any/all requested information

Shift:

• Monday thru Friday 17:00 til 02:00
• Subject to change as required by freight flow
• May be required to cover other day shifts as needed on very limited basis

Job Requirements:

• minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• must be detail oriented
• computer experience a PLUS , including being familiar with the AS400 program , and a having a general knowledge of windows and microsoft
• knowledge and experience of dock operations a PLUS
• MUST be a self-motivated & self disciplined individual. One that seeks to set and achieve both personal goals, and any goals set for them.
• MUST be one that can perform his / her job to the highest level without having direct supervision
• Knowledge of the NMFC ( National Motor Freight Classification ) a PLUS
• MUST be mobile and able to manage time efficiently
