Employment: Information Technology : SAP WM Functional Analyst

Job Summary

This full time position has the responsibility to elicit, analyze, validate, specify, verify, and manage the needs of project stakeholders, including customers and end users. As a member of the SAP Applications team, this person will work with technical staff, users, and management to design applications and solve business-related problems. He/she will be expected to quickly ramp up on the design and code of existing applications and provide support as required. This position is involved throughout the entire software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, estimation, realization, testing, deployment, and support.

Job Requirements

Support and enhance existing SAP modules in the areas of:

• Warehouse Management
• Inventory Management
• 3rd Party Logistics
• Electronic Data Interchange for warehouse management and billing
• Financial management and accounting processes
• Procurement and workflow processes

Interfaces internal to SAP and between SAP and external systems

• Archivelink for imaging and document storage
• Develop custom changes and enhancements using the ABAP programming language
• Develop system documentation for training and support purposes
• Implement system changes according to the ODFL change management process
• Provide SOX documentation in accordance with department standards>
• Use Planview to manage projects and track time spent on approved projects and tasks

Job Requirements:

• Technical or 4 Year Degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years of SAP WM Functional experience
• Knowledge of the SAP SD and MM modules is a plus
• Proficiency in project management and resource utilization
• Proficiency in system/application design, testing, and end-user support
• Experience with Microsoft SharePoint is a plus
• Experience with PC tools including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work as part of a team in a multi-tasking environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
