Employment: Management/Professional: Assistant Manager of Sales and Service

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., a major LTL carrier, has an exciting position available for an individual who is highly motivated, dedicated and able to lead others in all phases of our operation. This person oversees and is directly involved in all phases of the service center operation. To join our team, you must be “hands-on” and energetic.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Direct and coordinate activities of service center employees to provide cost effective, timely, quality service to customers. Investigate customer complaints and resolve problems. Interview, select, train, and assign new personnel. Enforce compliance of all company policies and procedures, safety rules and governmental regulations. Review and analyze expenditure, financial and operations reports to determine requirements for increasing profits and improving processes. Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends as necessary.
