Tiff Viewer Instructions

Click to get the free Tiff Viewer plugin.- Select the auto-install link for your browser.
- AlternaTIFF is free to use for any purpose; however you will be required to register it before it can be used to view images. You will be told how to register when you install it, or when you first use it to view an image.
- After installation, click the (click here) link to return to the installation page. Please be sure to test your viewer with the Test Page link in the shaded box in the upper right corner.
- You should see a window displaying SAMPLE test image 1. if not, please try reinstalling the viewer software.
- Close and reopen your browser and return to www.odfl.com. The next time you request a document in the 'Document Retrieval' area the Tiff Viewer should display the image.
- Please refer to the FAQ page on the AlternaTIFF website if you have any problems.
Troubleshooting:
If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 you will need to make sure you have the latest Service Pack installed (SP1). To download IE 6.02 SP1 choose Online Support under the Help section within Internet Explorer. After arriving at Microsoft's site follow the Download Software link to Internet Explorer download update.
